During his M.S his research (thesis) focused on Human wildlife conflict and tiger poaching in India. Currently he is pursuing his PhD in Conservation Criminology at Fisheries and Wildlife department, Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan (on going since August 2015). He is also employed as a research assistant at Michigan State University where he works on projects related to wildlife crime like poaching, illegal wildlife trade and wildlife parts smuggling. Along with his PhD, he is also pursuing a graduate certification in Gender justice and environmental change from Michigan State University.
